Sweet pan-fried mochi

Ingredients

1 cup of Mochiko Sweet Rice Flour (Blue Star Brand)

3/4 cup of water

1 tsp sugar

vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the rice flour, water, and sugar until no lumps.

  2. Heat a pan on low heat and pour the vegetable oil. Pour a small amount onto the pan and spread it evenly so that it is not too thin or too thick.

  3. After 2 minutes, flip over and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle sugar on top of mochi (I also like to add strawberries to enhance flavor). Add as many toppings as you like. Enjoy!
